For sale are those very smooth and shiny rectangular cut hoops, in solid 18K gold from circa 1940. I’m not sure of the origin of the earrings, since it’s a owl hallmark (The owl hallmark characterises second-hand jewellery of foreign or uncertain origin. It has existed since 1994 in France. This hallmark is a bit special because it guarantees that the jewel is made of at least 750 ‰ gold. If the jewel is of a higher grade (999 or 916 ‰), this will not be indicated. Finally, it is the guarantee office that affixes it in most cases.) .
Those earrings are smooth, with very very light use marks. It’s not overshadowing their beauty, it’s only visible if you look really closely.
The rectangular cut gives them a fantastic and brilliant look, very classy.
They’re suitable for everyday wear, as they are not too big. They will work with any outfit.
They are light, so they won’t be heavy on your ears.
They are closing fine.
